The Text Selector Canvas element provides extensive customization through several property groups.
Set your main text content and define which words should appear as "matched" (pre-highlighted). The plugin supports multi-paragraph text with automatic paragraph detection, and you can provide a list of vocabulary terms to highlight.
Control the base typography for all text, including font family, size, weight, and color. These settings apply to all words by default before any state-specific styling is applied.
Configure the layout and appearance of individual word spans. This includes background color, padding, margins (top, bottom, right), paragraph spacing, and border properties (radius, style, width, color).
Customize how words from your "Matched words" list appear. Options include background color, text color, text decoration (underline, overline, line-through), and text transformation (uppercase, lowercase, capitalize).
Define the visual treatment for words when users select them. You can configure background color, text color, font weight, font style, text decoration, and text transformation for the selected state.
Control the hover state appearance when users mouse over words. Similar to selected styling, you can customize background, text color, font weight, style, and decoration for a smooth interactive experience.
Fine-tune interaction behavior with toggles for hover effects and selection functionality, plus settings for hover transition speed, cursor style, and native text selection behavior.
